All Presidio cases feature IMPACTIUM™, an innovative dynamic-shock absorbing material:

  • Presidio CLEAR, Presidio CLEAR + GLITTER, and Presidio CLEAR + PRINT have IMPACTIUM™ CLEAR on the inside of the case that absorbs and disperses shock. To ensure the cases are completely unobtrusive and showcase the beautiful new iPhone, Presidio CLEAR cases do not feature the Shock Barrier.

Drop-tested protection

In order to offer superior protection, Speck uses drop-testing standards that go beyond the military standards used in previous Speck cases.

  • Presidio, Presidio GRIP, Presidio INKED, Presidio WALLET and Presidio SHOW are drop-tested from 10 feet multiple times by a third-party laboratory.
  • Presidio CLEAR, Presidio CLEAR + GLITTER, and Presidio CLEAR + PRINT are drop-tested from 8 feet, because they do not have the Shock Barrier.
